Joostrap is Alive and Well
Dear Joostrap user past and present
I would like to offer my personal apologies for the spam email you received earlier today. As I am sure you will have realised that email was not sent with my knowledge and was as much as a surprise to me as it was to you.
Joostrap is alive and well and we have several exciting and new Joomla templates on the way and close to release. As always they will feature bootstrap 3 and designs that you just can't wait to use on your next project.
Joostrap was founded nearly 3 years ago by myself Philip Locke, as I wanted to share the awesomeness of bootstrap 3 with the Joomla community that I have loved and worked with for the last 9 years. To my delight and surprise it was more successful than I could ever have imagined. Everyday my heart is warmed when I see a new joomla web site being launched based on a Joostrap design. You even voted Joostrap as the best for mobile joomla templates at the J.O.S.C.A.R awards held at http://jandbeyond.org in 2013.
Shortly after winning that award a Joostrap user called Max approached me with an offer to take Joostrap to the next level with his marketing & social expertise. As Joostrap had until then only been a part of my work and its success was taking more of my time I accepted Max's proposal. As a result Max was given full access to the Joostrap web site and social media resources.
Unfortunately over the last few months it became apparent to me that Max was not fulfilling his marketing role and that he had wishes to take Joostrap into a different direction than me. I had hoped that we would be able to resolve these issues but as you can tell from the spam email you received this has sadly not been possible.
I am not one to wash dirty linen in public and always strive to act in a professional manner so I will simply say - sorry it didn't work out the way that you wanted Max and I wish you well in your new venture. (But please don't forget that user data that you had access to during your time at Joostrap is not yours and I trust that you will not be using it again).
